  • PGTs (Post Graduate Teachers): Either an integrated postgraduate course (including B.Ed) with at least 50% aggregate, or a Master’s degree in the relevant subject (≥ 50%) + B.Ed (≥ 50%) from NCTE-recognized university.

  • PRTs (Primary Teachers): Minimum Class XII (Senior Secondary) with 50% marks, plus a Bachelor's degree in Music/Performing Arts (if applying for music) where the subject was studied throughout the degree.

  • Non-Teaching Positions: Qualifications vary by post (graduate, B.Lib, B.Com, M.Com, B.Tech, etc.)

Selection Process: 

The selection process for KVS/NVS 2025 is quite structured and involves multiple stages:

  1. Tier-1 Exam

    • This is an objective test (OMR based) for most posts. 

    • The test contains 100 questions totaling 300 marks.
