Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Can I apply for both Paper I and Paper II?
Yes — if you meet eligibility criteria for both levels.
Q: Is there any interview or additional stage?
No — TNTET is strictly a written eligibility test. Qualifying doesn’t guarantee a job; it only certifies eligibility.
Q: What is the minimum passing score?
General category: 60% (i.e., 90 out of 150)
Reserved categories: same percentage (but note mark relaxation applies in eligibility, not in passing)
Q: Is the certificate valid for a lifetime?
Yes — once obtained, the TNTET qualifying certificate remains valid indefinitely.
